Exciting Changes to Seals Program - Coming 2025-26

The Vancouver Island Seals are excited to announce changes to the program structure for the 2025-26 season!

These changes will elevate the program to offer a more high-performance environment and on creating a competitive team while ensuring a strong connection to the community and providing options for player accommodation and travel.

The 2025-26 Vancouver Island Seals will host most of its programing in Port Alberni. This change allows us to offer a more strategic location that will utilize local ice schedules and facilities, build a sustainable player development program, and enhance the programs operations through local community engagement and staffing.

We are also excited to share with you the anticipated program staff:

• General Manager: Danielle Sutherland
• Head Coach: Dani Hardy
• Assistant Coaches: Carson Steel (Lead), Bill Hardy and Tenille Lindsay (Part-Time)
• Goalie Coach: Hailey Martens (Supported by Jamie McCaig)
• Skill Development, Strength and Conditioning and Video: Owen Hardy (Part-Time AC)
• Education Advisor: Tom McEvay
